Our day today started in “Galerija Matica Srpska”, in Novi Sad. The participants had a chance to meet with the art of the Serbian Cultural heritage and it’s first institution. They were fascinated with the exibition of the gallery and especially the politeness of our hosts.
Right after the tour around the gallery, lecture regarding local archaeology, history, numismatics and tourism took place, and the lecture was given by Rasko Ramadanski, Master in Archaeology in the University of Belgrade and representative of City museum of Becej. Participants enjoyed and learned from Mr. Ramadanski’s presentation in the ambient of the main hall in “Galerija Matica Srpska”.
Workshop: Danube culture funding in the Danube region, took place right after the lunch. Paul F. Langer stepped in as a lecturer, one of the members of European Danube Academy and a close partner of the DAReC organization. Paul’s lecture was about writing projects from the EU funds, thus providing a different and new environment in the local communities by implementing those above stated projects.
For the last lecture of the day, Tamara Pavlovic, PHD student on Laboratory for Anthropology, Faculty of Medicine in the University of Belgrade gave presentation about “Secrets of bones”. She started with a presentation, but ended with a workshop where she included a numerous number of bones for participants to work in groups and try to define how the anatomy of a human being actually looks like. Besides learning something new, our participants had a lot of fun!
